Jul, 2020 - Jul, 2020An iOS app I developed during the RW Bootcamp to help fellow bootcampers learn and work with git commands. APIs I have used to develop this app includes Codable, Selection Picker, Custom UIView, AutoLayout. Some of my classmates enhance the quality/functionality of the app and created pull requests which I merged with my codebase.

Junior Android Developer - BYLC
Dec, 2018 - May, 2020I was the first Android Developer to join this Non-Profit organization. So I had to develop and maintain its educational Android App independently. UI/UX: Took the initiative to do user research to remain relevant in the market. Prepared a questionnaire form and surveyed 600+ students from high school to the university level with support from other teammates. Analyzed the survey data to find out user pain points and redesigned the app based on those insights. Maintaining the App: The app was based on an open-source platform called OpenEDx. Customized the look and feel of the app and kept the project up to date. Also built multiple variants of the app from the same source code for corporate clients.

Smart PDF Tools
Jan, 2018 - Mar, 2020Designed the UI/UX and developed the app. Enabled users to convert files from one format to another quickly. The app gained 10k+ users quickly and mostly 5-star reviews in less than half a year. I am still maintaining the app’s codebase and keeping it up to date.

Feb 8, 2020Introduced Kotlin Coroutine in the local Android Meetup at Dhaka. Motivated the listeners to start thinking of introducing Coroutine into their codebases. Discussed how easy it is to use kotlin coroutine and its first-class support in the Android SDK.

Learned about Swift, UIKit, TableView, CollectionView, SwiftUI, Core Data, URLSession, GCD, etc. and implemented them in my app within only 13 weeks. Developed confidence to work on the production application by completing weekly assignments. Worked in a team to enhance teamwork skills, and practiced pair programming as well as collaboration on GitHub.

Building Bridges Through Leadership Training
Dec, 2016 - Mar, 2017This is a 4-month long leadership training course offered by the premier leadership institute in Bangladesh. I secured a place with a scholarship after the three rounds of competitive admissions process. The program helped me learn teamwork, communication and leadership. I worked with a diverse group of students from dramatically different socioeconomic backgrounds and learned to respect each other's views even when we do not agree.

Though still a student, Zoha has been a key member of our BYLCx team, Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC)'s online learning platform. Zoha is part of the UI/UX team and has assisted in solving some critical issues in our Android platform.
